Sickboy

Join hosts Jeremie, Brian, and Taylor as they hangout and have an unapologetic, unpolished and unfiltered discussion about what it's like to live life with a disease, in the hopes of finding humour in an otherwise taboo and sometimes dark subject.

This week on Sickboy we sit down with Ardra and dig into what it's like to live with MS, what it's like to rock a walker as a young woman, and how simple catheters can be, although, Taylor is still a little confused. Accessibility becomes a hot topic and we learn just how much of our society is constructed without it in mind. We had a really enlightening conversation and we want to give a huge shoutout to Ardra's blog, Tripping on Air, at trippingonair.com

Your comments about judgement if your guest today were to get pregnant struck a nerve with me. I have Crohn’s disease and have had it for 38 years. When I became pregnant at 26 with my now 26 year old son, my Mom was not happy with me because of what pregnancy can do to stir up the Crohns. So damned if you do and damned if you don’t! Keep up the good work!
